Construction

Students who enrol on this course learn a wide range of skills in operating tools, equipment, and industrial machinery, as well as the health and safety procedures when working on sites, and the processes involved in a site inspection. Students gain theoretical knowledge of appropriate building materials, quantity control, and cost estimation, whilst getting the chance to try out the new skills and techniques they have learnt in the generous work spaces at the College, both indoor and out.

Skilled and capable young trades people are in high demand by employers, and on completion of this course students are equipped with a large range of industrial skills and hands-on experience to set them apart. Being work-ready means many of our students go straight into employment, attain sucessful apprenticeships, or continue onto further studies.
